Internationally respected as one of the UK’s leading clinical, scientifically trained Aromatherapists, Margaret is well-known for her formidable expertise, steadfast attention to detail, and her commitment to helping therapists, beauty brand developers and other professionals in the field to reach their full potential. A full member of the IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapists), Margaret served on the Educational Committee of the IFA council (as a Vice-Chair and Education Chair) and co-created the IFA’s curriculum programme. An inspirational and dedicated educator, with a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and Teaching qualifications, Margaret developed and delivered a vast number of popular training courses and workshops specialising in science of plant extracts, organic skincare formulation, aromatherapy and other complementary therapies.
Margaret believes in life-long learning and passionately follows new scientific discoveries pertaining to all aspects of aromatherapy and natural cosmetic formulation. She consults for a number of organic skincare producers based in the UK and abroad developing eco-conscious and effective natural products. She also works with a wonderful organically certified essential oils distillery based in Greece (Vessel).
She has been a keynote speaker at conferences, lectured for a variety of complementary medicine schools (Quantum Metta School of Massage, the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine, etc.) and colleges (inc. the University of Bedfordshire), written numerous articles on chemistry and other subjects and contributed to many publications.
